Professional Experience
|
Mr. Williams manages all aspects of the
operation in addition to providing geotechnical engineering
services.
Garrett
E. Williams, P.E. has over 27 years of geotechnical and construction
materials testing experience. He has served as project and senior
engineer with responsibility for geotechnical analysis and execution
for a variety of projects throughout the state of Texas. His experience
includes airports; educational facilities, commercial, office,
municipal and high-rise structures; residential developments;
pavements; bridges and water and wastewater treatment plants.
In addition, Mr. Williams is presently serving on the
Project Monitoring Committee as a Project Advisor for the TxDOT
Research Project 0-4518 titled Reevaluate Current Potential Vertical
Rise (PVR) Design Procedures. |
Project Experience
|
International Terminal D - D/FW International Airport, Texas New international terminal with about 1,000,000 square feet with 2 main levels above grade and three levels below grade.
Automated People Mover (APM) System - D/FW International Airport, Texas The
APM consists of approximately 26,000 linear feet of guideway at an
average of 50 feet above the ground. The APM system contains twelve
stations, two in each terminal and a large maintenance facility.
Keller ISD - Keller & Fort Worth, Texas Performed geotechnical and CMT testing for the recent bond improvements consisting of a new 300,000 sf
high school, nine new schools and numerous additions.
Fort Worth Convention Center Expansion - Fort Worth, Texas Phase
I & II consists of a $75 million renovation of the existing
facility. New construction included a two-story building with a
mezzanine over the exhibit halls and ballroom portions. The expansion
footprint was approximately 135,000 square feet, with approximately
252,000 sf in total floor space.
Exxon Headquarters - Irving, Texas Over
500,000 square feet of office space underlain by up to 3.5 levels of
below grade area with excavation depths of up to 55 feet.
Kehe Warehouse - Midlothian, Texas Over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space to be developed in multiple phases. Inculdes cold storage facilities.
Expansion to Village Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility - Fort Worth, Texas
Improvements to the various facilities at the Village Creek WWTP
include the construction of several new structures, as well as
improvements to existing structures. Specific project elements include:
new high rate clarifier structure; new chemical/sludge handling
building; new high rate clarifier drain and feed lines; new junction
boxes; new screening facility; new electrical/power building and new
gravity belt thickener building.
