Experience |
Mr.
Sappington has worked in the field of geotechnical engineering and
construction materials testing since 2004. His prior
professional experience includes environmental investigations,
remediation, and
engineering, hydrology and hydraulics engineering, and land
development engineering. Mr. Sappington's graduate
thesis focused on
strength effects of long-term seasonal moisture change for
various pavement subgrade stabilization methods in sulfate-rich
expansive clays.
Mr. Sappington has diversified geotechnical
engineering project management experience.
Typical projects include retail and commercial developments, manufacturing facilities, educational
buildings and related infrastructure, apartments
and townhomes, residential subdivisions, highways and local streets,
bridges, retaining structures, earth slope
stability (distress, remediation, and design), major utility
installations, elevated and ground-supported storage tanks, and distress investigations.
